In fact Reality is delivered as a package and the Mac OS system instaaller manages it. If you are having consistent problems with teh Mac OS package manager you might have problems with your OS. You can try to reboot you Mac is Safe Mode. This is done by restarting your Mac and pressing the Shift key while the machine restart. Hold the key down until the "spinning gear" appears. Let the Mac boot in safe mode and then restart the machine. If that doesn't fix it you might need to use DiskWarrior or make an appointement with the Apple store or local Apple authorized service center.
