Absolutely superb. Love it. I like that there's only one light source casting a shadow, or so it seems.

Where is her suit from, if I may ask, and did you create the DoF during the render or in post production ?

If you like space stations and that kind of thing, you may want to check out the Erato base project by Tim Polmear.

Although it says the stuff is for poser it all works fine in DS.

Thanks guys.

The suit is "Suit 004 for V4" by Posermatic – Renderosity shows this as no longer available so I don't know where you could get it (  http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=58372 )

The under suit is "Cyber Suit Mark II" by RA Graphics  ( http://www.renderosity.com/mod…..k-ii/71763 )

The DOF was done during the render.  The only post-work was to tweak the saturation, contrast and levels a little as well as a final small reduction in noise followed by subtle sharpening.  Almost the exact same work flow I use with my still photographs ( http://photo.net/photos/MikeODay )

Thanks for the link to the Erato Base Project – I'll check it out.

Cheers

Mike

Thanks for the full reply Mike. Not sure I'll go trying to track down the outfits, but cheers anyways.

If you like post processing, and your flow is not dissimilar to mine, then you may like one or two of the free filters from Red Paw Media.

http://www.redpawmedia.com/

I use the beautyfy one on almost all figure renders but tone it down some, and then sharpen.

If you're able to do Z dpeth passes then DoF pro is a very nice tool to have BUT it isn't cheap. You can achieve similar reuslts if you know your way around the better versions of photoshop, and can make Z passes.

Finally, there's some nice sci-fi gear from Xurge.  http://www.xurge3d.com/

Not much in the way of free stuff but reasonable prices and a nice alternative to Daz or Rendo.
