all for Free for the next 30 days.

Yeah when I saw that I immediately logged in and got Studio 4 Pro and Bryce 7 Pro cant believe it, I just saved myself $679 dollars. But with that comes the content purchase grind.. lol

No, it's probably more in line with so few people happy with it, in order to recover the R&D costs of Genesis and the x5 series characters, they have to give away the software. Many people are not going to Genesis and Studio 4 because they are unhappy with the interface, the cost, its problems, etc., so DAZ is losing a fortune on the newer content, which will only work in the 4.x environment.

And with the recent release of a Weight Map conversion script for Victoria 4 for Poser 9 / Pro 2012 one may wonder how well Genesis will go for Daz.

Thanks for the heads up Gizmo. I forked out for the advanced version of Ds4 so will be happy trying the pro one for free.
My system has problems with bryce 7 pro BUT when the bridge between it and DS works, it opens up a load more possibilities.

They may give you a refund on the ds4a they are for the pro version if you have purchased my be worth asking.

Good idea but I won't be holding my breath.
I've got to contact them to ask if it is indeed the pro version and not the advanced version that they're giving away. I suspect that it is actually the advanced one but with three add-ons included in the bundle that were originally only available with the pro version.
You don't get the decimator add on and still have to pay for that as a seperate item.
