Re: OpenCL rendering with Reality/LuxRender - results so far

I believe so. There are some issues with luxrender and opencl 2.0 from what I have read in the forums. From what I remember, it was because nvidia hasn't update to opencl 2.0 since they focus on cuda. As a result, luxrender could not support opencl 2.0 at the time, but the AMD drivers were coming wi...

Which drivers are you using?
You should try with catalyst v15 that have opencl 1.9.

Re: 0 Devices when trying to use GPU

Hi!

Maybe it is a driver problem. You can try to roll back to a 15.x version:

Re: Lines through OpenCL GPU render

Hi,

This happened to me also with amd drivers 16.x. Rolling back to 15.x solved the issue (basically to OCL drivers 1.9.x).
I think this only happened with sobol sampling btw.

ocl questions

Hello, I have 2 questions regarding ocl rendering. I am trying to render crowd scenes with more than 10 figures using ocl. I am getting various kerner compilation errors depending on the ocl settings, but I believe that the main issue is the number of surfaces. This is supported by the fact that when...
