Re: IRay and Reality

If the Iray materials/shaders use Metallicity/Roughness types then they will not work with Reality. Well they will work but look totally wrong as that is a completely different texture type than Diffuse/Specular & holds different information. Haven't come across a skin as yet that uses them but ...

Re: AMD FireRender vs LuxRender

I have not had a chance to read through it but at a guess I would say it is pretty much AMD's version of Iray but using OpenCL instead of Nvidia's propriety CUDA technology, what I skimmed through seems to point to a lot of similarities to Iray. Iray has been around quite a few years, long before DA...

Re: ocl questions

Re: Poll: Select your favorite Victoria

I see V5 is popular ;). In all honesty the concept behind the Genesis range having the male & female the same base was quite forward thinking. I wouldn't say it failed as such as it made making hybrid alien/non humanoid chars very quick & easy, but normal humans, while some of them where ind...

Re: "Thanks" button

This may help Paolo, . They talk about various extensions that can be added, although it is more like a FB "Like" feature. I didn't have time to go through all the posts but what I did read looks like it points in the right direction dep...
