Image gallery?

This may work: create a personal album, then try uploading from there. Once the picture is uploaded it should be possible to move it from the personal album to the desired folder.

After clicking on "Users Personal Albums" in the main gallery page, there is no way for me to create a personal album - at least none that I can see. I see other people personal albums but no button or option to create my own album. Am I missing something?

Lyne. I used your permissions to test the gallery and I was able to post an image to the Portraits album. I don't know what to say...

How about this: Go to the top and click your name > User Control Panel > Gallery > Manage Personal Album > Create subalbum

Before creating a subalbum, make sure that the personal album is present. In the "Manage personal albums" subtab, check if there is a button named "Create personal album". If so, then click on it.

Done! Thanks all. I was able to create a personal album and upload a few images.

Now, how to upload to the main gallery that Paolo created i.e., Portrait, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comics, Tutorials...

I clicked on Portrait and then upload image button and still get the error message:

You are not allowed to upload any images.
Please contact the administrator for more information.

I'm starting to feel like I'm a bit dense here...

Click Your Personal Album: username > MCP (it's on the left where quick links are) > Moderate Album > then choose move image from drop down menu

Moving an image is a two step process. After you choose move image you'll be asked where you want it to go and you can choose from a drop down menu

OK, I changed the permissions for the Albums, it should be possible to upload to the album directly.

I uploaded images in my personal album. I then clicked on one of my image and there was a drop down menu titled "Select moderator action:". I picked "Move image" from the drop-down and picked "Comics ID: 10" as the target album.

Worked like a charm.
