Reality Portrait Lighting

Postby sigstan » Mon Jun 06, 2016 3:21 pm

I'm converting and updating some of my old tutorials from the old RDNA Reality forum into a more flexible PDF format.

The first tutorial ready is "Reality Portrait Lighting", which covers many of the terms, general techniques and light patterns associated with 3D portrait rendering. All this is done using the cubed studio, A V4 and a single mesh light. Less is more ;)

Compared to the original RDNA forum version there are only a few changes. The biggest one is the addition of the Sidelight pattern.

Note that the tutorial was made in DAZ Studio, but the techniques and light patterns are universal, and it should be fairly straight forward to convert the tutorial scenes to Poser.

If you have any questions to the tutorial, feel free to ask.
