Mesh Light Visibility

Hello

Whenever I try to use a Spotlight, Reality converts it into a Mesh Light. In addition, whenever I try to use a Mesh Light, even when I turn off it's visibility in the Simulation and in the Renderer, it still shows up.

The conversion is part of the preferences. You can disable it there. Lights work as in real life, because LuxRender is a physically-accurate renderer. If the light is in the frame, it will be visible, no matter what you select in Studio.
