Unable to Install Reality 4.3.1 on Mac OS X V10.13 High Sierra

Postby GenuineTed » Sun Oct 22, 2017 4:50 pm

Whenever I try to install Reality 4.3.1 for Daz Studio 4.9, the Reality installer gives me this error message:

The configuration file /private/var/folders/n0/c0ng_rzn4nzg_mvtx3l9bm540000gn/T/AppTranslocation/365459B9-3F79-4FCC-BAE0-69CEE68A7839/d/RealityInstaller.cfg is missing. This installation cannot continue.

As far as I can tell, the installer is creating a temporary disk image at the above location, but it isn't copying any of the additional resources needed to complete the install.

Reality for Daz Studio 4.3.1 (Mac 64-bit)
Daz Studio 4.9.4.122 (Mac 64-bit) Pro Edition
Mac OS X v10.13.1(17B35a) High Sierra

From looking at the assets folder in the Reality installer disk image, it appears that all I need are the folder destinations for these items. With that I can install the software manually.

If anyone has the Mac file paths for the below directories, I'd appreciate it:
ACSEL
DS_PropsAndLights
luxrender-ocl
Reality_DS
Reality_DS64_plugin

Thank you.

Right Click on the RealityInstaller.app and select Show Package Contents, Then Navigate to Contents/MacOS and Right Click on the RealityInstaller and select Open so that the installer runs from the terminal
