Creating a handle for pin-pointing is not hard.

Take a look at this screen shot of the simple handle I created for the curved Reality Light:

As you can see it is just a transparent cylinder primitive placed in the center of the mesh light (in this case the light camera) with the Y-vector pointing forward and then parented in place. Now you can extend the handle by increasing the Y-scale renamed to "Extend handle". Renaming the Y-scale and setting limits can be adjusted by using the small gear on the Y-scale parameter.

Adding a camera can be done by creating an anchor (Null object), parenting the camera to the anchor and then parenting the mesh light to the camera. You can see the hierarchy on the screen shot.
