    Paolo,

I look forward to next installment. Enjoy your break.

Also, can you tell me what software you use to screen grab your tutorials?

    Cheers,

    Sterling

I use ScreenFlow by Telestream. Highly recommended. http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/overview.htm

    Good Morning Paolo,
I went agaom through all your tutorials this weekend. Thanks again!!
I do have one querky thing that occured, I hope you have an answer. I started a new session, and when I went to add, lets say a plane, I could not ‘see’ the plane, but it acted like it was there. All controls worked, s, g, r, but I could not see it. I zoomed out and in, selected ‘a’ to select all objects, but it never showed up.?. I tried again making sure the 3d cursor was in view and added an object w/o results. I could duplicate the cube any number of times. What setting did I change/mess up? I went back to an older project, and everything worked fine in that session.?. Help!
If you cant, I understand, I still appreciate all the work it takes to do these tutorials. I hope they are paying you well!
    Your student,
    Paul

    Hi Paul.
Here are a couple of things to check. First, sometimes OpenGL handling of your video card can be compromised by bugs or using different applications at the same time. Restart you machine and see if that helps. If it doesn’t, check your near and far clipping for the camera. If you change those and save the setting in your defaults it could be that the camera is clipping the view. Right click on the camera and then switch to the editing view and check thee “Clipping Start/End” values. The defaults are Start: 0.10 and End 100. Also check if the cube is too small or too large to be rendered. Check also the GLSL settings. Lastly, sometimes the normals of an object can create this problem. Switch to edit mode, select all the vertices and press Ctrl-N to recalculate the normals outside.
    Hope this helps.
