Reality includes a DAZ Studio fog prop that you can use for many different effects, including rendering beautiful moon light filtering through the windows. Like in this example (click for larger view):
In this video tutorial we see exactly how to achieve this effect with Reality and LuxRender.

Thats strange………..I don’t seem to have the fog prob????
I mean……………….PROP!!
@kylumi
It is added by the installer, look in the ~/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio3/Reality folder (Mac OS, similar path under My Documents for Windows). Once you find it add that path to your Studio configuration. There you have the water prop, the light portal etc.
Thank you, for your reply……….
But it is not in my Reality folder
By the way…………I love the softbox, its my fav plug-in.
Kylumi, the content is installed automatically by the Reality installer. If it doesn’t appear in Studio it means that you have to add the content folder to your Studio native directories, like other products. Once you do that, the Reality props will appear in your Content window.
OK, Paolo…..Thank you
I will take a look at the installer and path….at the moment this is no big deal for me but, I may want to use it later.
Thank you, again.
Paolo,
Do you still have Truecolor V.3 for JVC 110 HD camera?
I just bought your reality course.

Hi Ed.
Yes, I have it, I just didn’t manage to restore my old site but I will do it soon.
Thanks for the purchase, have fun with it 🙂

Preta sometimes your computer upsets me and makes me think I should migrate to Apple. 🙁
grenadeh, you should definitely consider it. Great stress reducer 🙂
Cheers.
No matter what i try i can not get the fog prop to light up. I can get it to work with the tutorial on the marrakesh scene but nothing else. Im using the west park lobby overlook scene and I would like light rays coming through the windows.
